TILT is designed to exceed in practicality and productivity. While the demand for power strip is increasing with the rise of more and more home appliances, the size of the plug board takes up much more space than it should. Its extended length causes increase in both production and retail cost. TILT, however, with its triangular shape body and outlets that are located on both sides, could minimize its length and the overall space that it occupies. Without any moving parts that could bring up its cost, TILT can accommodate wall wart type power adapters without overlapping with due to the increase in space between each socket. Considering the fact that power strips are mostly used on floors, all the cables are designed to head upwards once plugged in, which leads to tidy and neat arrangement of the cables. TILT is the new set of efficiency, utility and beauty.

TILT was created to address the problems of current 220V power strips that are used widely in Korea. We began by researching other types of power strip concepts that address the following similar issues: The size of the power strips, its ability to accommodate all range of plugs and adapters without overlapping, and the price range of products that achieve similar results. After a thorough research, we figured TILT can be created at a much cheaper price compared to its other counterparts. Not only is TILT free of any moving parts that can increase the cost of production, its interior and exterior components are remarkably similar to current 220V power strips; thus making it possible for cheap production, possibly at a same cost as current 6 socket (6구) models with single or multiple power switch. The process of usage is as same as current models. Insert the plugs or adapters at any socket and when you need to turn off the power, just press the single power switch located at the top of the power line. We are leaving a large possibility for our concept to be developed further to accommodate different variations such as multiple on/off switch for every socket and possibly changing the location of the sockets for optimized usage in the future. TILT does not have to be in the form of a 6 socket power strip. It can be designed with any number of sockets with similar design using both sides of the product as seen in our current concept.
